After the sunset, Josh and I had dinner in Haleiwa for the first time. In our whole year here, we hadn’t been to Haleiwa at night yet. We ate at Luibueno’s and it was delicious! The closest thing to Tex-Mex that I’ve had. It made me realize how much I miss chips and salsa! We’re both already ready to go back!

Liliha Bakery
On Saturday, Josh and I were supposed to go to Molokai for our second trip to do some things that got rained out on our first trip. Instead, we got rained out again so we decided to go have breakfast at Liliha Bakery. We had been here once before when I came to visit one time and it was delicious. I’m so glad we went back…it was better than I remembered!
JJ Bistro
On Friday night, Josh and I were looking for places for dinner that we had never tried. We decided on a Thai restaurant and when we got there we decided it looked sketchy. So instead we ate at JJ Bistro, which was across the street. They had a wide variety of things to choose from and a bunch of desserts (that looked amazing…we didn’t have one). The food was pretty good…atmosphere was a little strange, but it was nice to try something different!

Cousin Fun
Along with the adventures that I’ve already blogged about, Bailey, Kyle and I spent time hiking, going to the beach, eating tons of good food, enjoying the pool and touring Oahu in general. We had such a great time and I miss them already!! I’m so thankful they were able to come visit and I got to spend such quality time with them :).
Leonard’s Bakery
On Bailey and Kyle’s last day here, we ventured to Leonard’s so they could try the malasadas. They were a hit! Josh also requested that I get him four while I was there :). I actually hadn’t ever been, so it was fun for me to get to experience it as well!
Haleiwa Joe’s
For one of our last nights with Bailey and Kyle, we tried a restaurant called Haleiwa Joe’s. We went to the one in Kaneohe and the food was wonderful! We had some great seafood, so that was great for Kyle who wanted to make sure he got fish!

Cinnamon’s
This morning, Bailey, Kyle and I met Josh at Cinnamon’s in Kailua. I had always heard how wonderful it was for breakfast, but had never tried it. It was amazing! We had TONS of food and tried four different types of pancakes. They were all wonderful, but the red velvet was by far my favorite (of course).
