A few months ago we tried O’Kims, a new Korean restaurant in Chinatown, with some of our friends. It was a great experience and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. It was a beautiful night and we sat out back in their patio/courtyard area.
Truffle Mandoo: Dumpling stuffed with mushrooms (king oyster, button, earwood and enoki), yellow squash, zucchini and black and white truffle paste, shoyu jelly, pickled daikon.
Korean Chicken & Gnocchi: Deep fried chicken with gochujang sauce, house made gnocchi nuts, purple rice, green salad & kimchi.
Confited Pork Belly Brulee: Confited pork belly with miso sauce, apple ginger jam, seasame leaves, purple rice, green salad & kimchi.
Ton Katsu King: Pork cutlet with home made demi-glace sauce, fresh corn chowder, green salad, purple rice, and kimchi.
Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream.
